하이드로겔 마스크 팩의 사용실태와 구매에 관한 연구

Abstract

There are many types and shapes of mask packs and the mask types includes sheet type, hydrogel type, biocellulose type, mud type, etc. Sheet mask pack is the most popular among all of them nowadays, and recent consumers prefer products with more functionality than sheet type masks made of fabrics such as nonwoven fabric, cotton etc. 'Hydrogel mask pack' is a product made of polymers such as Carrageenan, Ceratonia Siliqua Gum and Xanthan gum, which are natural vegetable polymers with excellent moisture retention. This study investigates the types and materials of 'Hydrogel mask pack', which is a new trend in the mask pack market, continuously growing both domestically and overseas, and examined consumers' perception, usage and purchasing conditions. A questionnaire survey was conducted nationwide on 600 women; 150 women per group, aged between 20 and 50, who have used hydrogel mask packs at least once, and the collcted data was analyzed. The analyzed data showed that women's preference for hydrogel mask packs was the highest among mask packs and the mask pack had the best excellent moisture retention. The mask pack was considered as functional cosmetic, effective for solving skin troubles through intensive nourishment, wrinkle improvement, elasticity enhancement, calming effect and whitening effect.
