『續蒙求分註』에서 인용한 서적과 그 학술사적 의미

『續蒙求分註』는 眉巖 柳希春(1513∼1577)이 唐나라 李瀚의 『蒙求』를 잇는다는 뜻을 표방한 續撰書이다. 유희춘은 유배 시기에 참고할 만한 서적이 없는 상태에서 아이들의 교육과 풍속을 교화할 목적으로 이 책을 편찬하였다. 그래서 해배된 후 이 책을 간행할 때 인물과 언론에 대한 출처를 세세히 기록한 「人物言論出處」를 책의 앞부분에 실어 인용한 인물의 고사와 논평이 확실한 근거가 있다는 것을 밝혔고, 배우는 자가 찾아보기 쉽게 체계적이고 정밀하게 목록화 작업을 실시하였다. 여기에 실린 서적 목록은 단순히 유희춘의 개인 관심사에 그치는 것이 아니라 당시 지식인들의 관심사와 일부 맞물려 있다. 그래서 본고는 서적의 성격과 간행 및 유통 과정을 파악하여 당대 문화의 일면을 고찰하고 그 학술사적 의미를 찾는 것을 목적으로 하였다.
Abstract
『Sokmonggubunju』(續蒙求分註) is an instructive book written by Miam Yoo Heechun(眉巖 柳希春, 1513-1577) with the purpose of succeeding 『Monggu』(蒙求) written by Lee Han(李瀚) during the Tang Dynasty. He compiled this book, when he was exiled without no books for reference, for the purpose of educating children and cultivating customs. Therefore, when publishing this book after being released exile, he made it clear that the quotes and comments of the people he quoted had a solid basis by adding 「Inmuleonronchoolcheo」(人物言論出處), a reference for figures and stories, which records the sources of persons and presses in detail, to the front of the book. He also created a systematic and precise index to make it easy for learners to search. The list of books included reflected not only simple Yoo Heechun's personal interests but also the interests of intellectuals at the time partially. The purpose of this study was, therefore, to examine aspects of the culture of the time and explores the academic and historical significance of the book by understanding the nature of the book and its publication and distribution process.
