본 연구는 중국의 대외직접투자가 투자대상국의 수출 및 수입에 미치는 영향에 대해서 분석하였다. 중국의 대외직접투자는 2000년대 들어 그 규모와 범위가 매년 빠르게 증가하고 있다. 하지만 중국 대외직접투자의 영향력 확대에도 불구하고, 중국의 대외직접투자가 투자대상국 경제에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석은 아직까지 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 중국의 대외직접투자가 투자대상국 경제, 그 중에서도 수출 및 수입에 미치는 영향에 대한 종합적인 분석과 세부적인 분석을 동시에 진행하고자 하였다. 분석을 위해서 먼저 전체 투자대상국의 수출 및 수입에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 나아가 투자대상국을 경제수준에 따라 선진국과 개발도상국으로 나누어서 추가적인 분석을 진행하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해서 중국의 대외직접투자가 선진국과 개발도상국의 수출 및 수입에 미치는 서로 다른 영향을 비교분석하였다. 먼저 전체 투자대상국을 분석한 결과 모든 국가로의 수출을 증가시킨다는 결과가 나왔다. 하지만 선진국과 개발도상국으로 나누어 비교분석한 결과 중국의 대외직접투자가 투자대상국의 수출에 미치는 영향은 서로 다르다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 중국의 대외직접투자가 개발도상국으로의 수출은 증가시키는 반면 선진국으로의 수출은 감소시킨다는 결과가 나왔다. 이러한 결과를 통해서 중국의 대외직접투자가 투자대상국의 경제발전 정도에 따라서 서로 다른 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다. 그리고 이러한 결과는 투자대상국으로부터의 수입에 미치는 영향에서도 동일하게 나왔다. 중국의 대외직접투자가 수출에 미치는 영향과 마찬가지로 투자대상국으로부터의 수입 역시 선진국과 개발도상국에 서로 다른 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the impact of China's outward foreign direct investment on exports and imports of the countries to be invested. China's outward foreign direct investment has been growing rapidly every year since the 2000s. However, despite the expansion of the influence of China's outward foreign direct investment, the analysis of the impact of China's outward foreign direct investment on the host country's economy has yet to be done properly. Therefore, this research was intended to carry out a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the impact of China's outward foreign direct investment on the export and import of the countries to be invested. First, it analyzed the impact on exports and imports of all countries. Next, it analyzed the target countries by dividing them into developed and developing countries according to their economic level. Through this, the different effects of China's outward foreign direct investment on exports and imports from developed and developing countries were compared. First, an analysis of the total countries showed that it increases exports to all countries. However, it was different from the comparative analysis of developed and developing countries. China's outward foreign direct investment increases its exports to developing countries, while its exports to developed countries decrease. These results show that China's outward foreign direct investment has different effects depending on the level of economic development in the countries. And these results were the same for the impact on imports. Imports also had different effects on developed and developing countries.
