본 연구는 Q방법론의 미래에 대한 Q학자들의 인식유형을 파악하고, 각 유형별 특성과 유형별 차이점을 파악하는 주관성 연구이다. Q방법론을 이용한 본 연구의 대상자는 Q방법론을 이용하여 논문을 1편 이상 작성한 32-56세의 Q학자 25명이었으며, Q표본은 28개 이었다. 수집된 자료는 QUANL PC 프로그램으로 처리하여 최종적으로 유형을 구분하였다. 그 결과 4가지 유형으로 구분되었으며, 제1유형은 ‘교류와 확장요구형’, 제2유형은 ‘실용적 활용형’, 제3유형은 ‘이론강화형’, 제4유형은 ‘가치와 헌신추구형’으로 분석되었다. Q방법론의 미래에 대한 한국 Q학자들의 다양한 관점들을 조화롭게 수용하여 한국 Q방법론을 발전시키는 합의점을 도출하는 데에 본 연구가 활용된다면 연구의 의의가 있다고 하겠다.
Abstract
This study is a subjective research conducted to find out the perception types of Korean Q Scholars toward the Future of Q Methodology, to compare the features and differences of perception types and to analyze them. Research design of this study is Q methodology approach. The study population is 25 Korean Q Scholars, aged 32-56, who published at least one article using Q Methodology. Q samples are 28 statements. The collected data was processed through QUANL PC program and sorted into 4 types as followings. The first type is the “demand of exchange and expansion” type, the second one is “practical use” type, the third one is the “strengthening Q methodology” type, and the fourth one is the “pursuit of the value and devotion” type. If this study is used for harmoniously accommodating various views of Korean Q scholars on the future of Q methodology and drawing an agreement on developing it, this study would be meaningful.
