본 연구는 Q방법론을 통하여 발달장애인의 자기결정에 대한 인식 유형과 유형별 특성을 이해하고 추후 유병별특성을 고려한 지원프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 활용하고자 시도되었다. 발달장애인 5명, 발달장애인 지원서비스실무자 3인과 비구조화된 심층면담과 관련문헌 고찰을 통해 78개의 Q모집단을 구성하였고 이중 32개의 Q표본을 선정하여 21명의 발달장애인에게 Q분류를 실시하였다. PC-QUANL을 이용하여 4개 요인과 6개 유형이 분석되었다. 6개 유형은 각각 ‘수평적 정체성 추구형’, ‘현실적 한계인식형’, ‘책임인식형’, ‘내적동기중시형’, ‘부정적 인식 순응형’, ‘외적동기 의존형’으로 명명하였다. 본 연구 결과는 발달장애인의 자기결정을 돕기 위한 프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to understand the types of recognition and characteristics of self - determination in developmental disabled by the Q methodology. After in-depth interviews with 5 person with developmental disability and 3 social workers and study of related literature, the final 32 Q-samples were selected by collecting the opinions of experts.Q-sorting was conducted by 21 P-samples. The PC-QUANL program was used for analyzing Q-sort data. Six distinctive types for self-determination of developmental disabled were identified:Ⅰ. Horizontal identity pursuit, Ⅱ. Realistic limit recognition, Ⅲ. Responsibility awareness, Ⅳ. Intrinsic motivation, Ⅴ. Negative perceptio, Ⅵ. External motive dependence. The results of this study are expected to provide basic data for the development of programs to help self - determination of people with developmental disabilities.
