Abstract

Chashan Ding Reyong was a renowned poet during the end of 18 century and the early 19th century. His work had very high artistry not only in the content but also in format. With high ideological nature and the artistry, his work also played an important role both in the South Korean Chinese poem literature and in the East Asian Chinese poem literature at that time (the second half of the 17th century-the first half of the 19th century). Therefore, this article takes Chashan’s natural view as the source material and considers the poems displaying the people’s life and poems describing the nature with the matphor as the objects which are regarded as “the natural poem”, and then compare to the natural poems writing by Wang Shizhen who was regarded as the representative of Qing Dynasty poets. Through the comparation, the article expounded artistic achievement and the modern preference to the Chashan Chinese poem’s and expected to explore the value of Chashan’s Chinese poem literary in a largerer view of East Asian.
