이 연구의 목적은 초등학교 4학년과 6학년의 쓰기 동기를 비교 연구하는 데에 있다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 4학년과 6학년 학생들 간의 쓰기 동기 점수는 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 여학생은 남학생보다, 대도시에 거주하는 학생은 읍면 지역에 거주하는 학생보다 쓰기 동기 점수가 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 시사 받을 수 있는 점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 중학년이나 남학생, 또는 읍면 지역에 거주하는 초등 학생들에게 알맞은, 별도의 쓰기 동기 향상 프로그램 개발이 필요하다. 둘째, 학생들이 쓰기를 수행하는 과정이나 결과를 통해서 실패보다는 ‘만족’을 경험하도록 해 주어야 한다. 셋째, 쓰기 동기 요인이 쓰기 행동과 직접적인 연관성 가지도록 쓰기 교육에서 고려해야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to prove the difference of between the 4th grade and 6th grade on the writing motivation at elementary school. The result of this study were as follows. First, there is no the difference of between the 4th grade and 6th grade on the writing motivation at elementary school. Second, girls have a good marks than boys, and students who lived in a city have a good marks than students who lived in a rural district Therefore, we have to develop the program which encourage elementary school student who lived in the country to improve the writing motivation. And we make a condition that student were satisfied with writing. Also, Teacher will consider that his student have something to do with the factor of the writing motivation.
