국어교사의 쓰기 평가 효능감 분석

초록

이 연구의 목적은 현직 국어교사의 쓰기 평가 효능감을 조사하여 분석하고, 이를 통해 교육적 의사 결정에 필요한 정보를 제공하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 현직 국어교사 133명을 표집하여 쓰기 평가 효능감을 조사하고 분석하였다. 검사 도구는 선행 연구에서 예비 국어교사의 쓰기 평가 효능감을 조사하기 위하여 개발했던 것을 활용하였다. 쓰기 평가 효능감의 하위 요인은 ‘실행적 평가 효능감’과 ‘일반적 평가 효능감’이며, 문항 수는 총 18개였다. 수집된 자료에 대해 기술통계, 신뢰도 분석, 상관도 분석 등을 적용한 결과, 검사 도구의 양호도, 자료의 안정성 및 적절성은 충분히 확보된 것으로 확인되었다. 국어교사의 성별에 따른 쓰기 평가 효능감의 차이 분석에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 발견되지 않았다. 두 하위 구성 요인 모두 동일했다. 예비 국어교사의 평가 효능감에서 성별 차이를 보고했던 선행 연구와는 차이가 있다. 또한, 교사 경력이 증가함에 따라 쓰기 평가 효능감의 평균이 상승하였지만, 경력별 차이 분석에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 발견되지 않았다. 그러나 경력이 6~20년에 속하는 국어교사들 중에는 쓰기 평가에서 자신감을 잃은 교사도 있을 수 있으므로 이에 대처할 수 있는 방안이 요구된다.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyse writing assessment self-efficacy (WASE) of in-service Korean language teachers, and to give educational administrators the information to need to make decisions. To get the purposes, in-service Korean teachers 133 are sampled and provided with WASE scale which consist of 18 items and two factors：practical writing assessment self-efficacy and genearl writing assessment self-efficacy. The results are following. (1) there is no significant gender gap of WASE. This result is different with that of pervious article which had analysed the pre-service teachers' WASE. (2) there is no significant teacher career gap of WASE also. As teachers' career year goes up, the mean of in-service teachers' WASE increase. However, the Korean Language teachers who get 6~20 career years need supplementation programs to booster WASE, because they have a lack of WASE or self-esteem on school writing assessment.
