본 연구는 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정 1~2학년 매체 영역 성취기준의 적절성 제고를 목표로 하였다. 이를 위해 리터러시 변화와 디지털 환경에서 어린이의 리터러시 실천, 누리교육과정 및 1~2학년군 타 교육과정과의 연계성을 살펴보았다. 디지털 전환 시대의 리터러시는 융복합 문식 환경에서 존재하며 여기서 매체는 인간의 의미 소통에 관한 주체성을 질적으로 변환시키는 잠재성을 지닌다. 또한 어린이들은 이러한 환경에서 주체적인 의미 생성자로서의 경험을 축적하고 있기 때문에 매체 영역의 성취기준은 학습자의 학교 밖 경험을 리터러시 자원으로 확보할 수 있으며 나아가 학습자의 실제적인 리터러시 실천을 지원할 수 있는 토대를 마련하였다. 또한 교육과정 분석을 통해 전통적 국어과 영역의 구조적 한계로 매체 관련 내용이 충분히 다루어지지 않았으나, 2022 매체 영역 성취기준을 통하여 누리과정 및 상위 학년군과의 위계가 마련되어 보다 체계적이며 연속적 학습의 토대를 마련할 수 있었다. 그러나 교육과정 상 진술의 한계, 교과서 집필 상의 문제 등을 고려할 때 1~2학년군 매체 영역 교육 내용의 적절성에 대한 논의는 지속적으로 이루어질 필요가 있다.
Abstract
This study aimed to review the appropriateness of achievement standards in media area for elementary 1st and 2nd grades in 2022 revised national curriculum of Korean language. We examined the change of literacy, the practice of children's literacy in the digital environment, relationship with Nuri curriculum other curriculum of 1st and 2nd graders. Literacy in the era of digital transformation is in a convergence literacy environment, where the medium has the potential to qualitatively transform the subjectivity of human meaning communication. And, since children accumulate experiences as subjective meaning creators in this environment, achievement standards in the media area can make learners' out-of-school experiences as literacy resources, and furthermore, lay the foundation for supporting learners' practical literacy practice. In addition, through the analysis of the curriculum, media-related contents were not sufficiently covered due to the structural limitations of the traditional Korean language area, but through the 2022 media achievement standard, a hierarchy with the Nuri curriculum and upper grade groups was established to lay the foundation for more systematic and continuous learning. However, considering the limitations of statements in the curriculum and problems in making textbooks, it is necessary to continue discussing the appropriateness of the contents of media education in the 1st and 2nd graders.
