본 연구는 브리콜라주(bricolage)를 서사 창작 교육의 핵심 기제로 주목하고, 이를 토대로 서사 창작 교육 방안을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 브리콜라주의 개념과 서사 창작의 친연성을 이론적으로 검토하고, 브리콜라주를 활용한 창작 원리를 개방성의 원리, 개별성의 원리, 유희의 원리, 역동성의 원리로 정식화하였다. 이러한 원리에 근거하여 브리콜라주를 활용한 서사 창작 교육 방안을 파편적 자료의 수집, 실험적 조합을 통한 서사 가능성 탐색, 핍진성 확보를 위한 서사 세계 설정, 개연성 있는 사건 배열을 통한 플롯 구성, 공유와 피드백을 통한 고쳐쓰기로 제안하였다. 본 연구는 브리콜라주를 서사 교육의 구체적 방법론으로 체계화했다는 데 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study highlights bricolage as a key mechanism in narrative writing education and proposes an instructional framework grounded in this concept. To this end, the study first examines the theoretical foundations of bricolage and its affinity with narrative creation. It then identifies four core principles of bricolage-based narrative writing: openness, individuality, playfulness, and dynamism. Building on these principles, the study outlines a pedagogical model consisting of collecting fragmented materials, exploring narrative possibilities through experimental combinations, establishing a narrative world that secures verisimilitude, constructing plots through plausible sequencing of events, and revising through sharing and feedback. The significance of this study lies in its systematic articulation of bricolage as a practical methodology for narrative writing education.
