완판본 한글 고소설 구운몽의 언어적 양상

이 글은 완판본 「구운몽(九雲夢)」(1862)을 대상으로 하여, 이곳의 언어적 양상을 표기, 음운, 형태, 어휘 등을 중심으로 하여 경판본과 비교하는 방법으로 살펴, 지역어문학 자료로서 한글 고소설의 가치가 어떤지 생각해 보고자 한 것이다. 완판본 「구운몽」은 경판본과 비교할 때 대화의 비중이 높고, 문장의 길이가 길기는 하나 구조가 복잡하지 않으며, 한문 투의 사용이 적고 상대적으로 어려운 표현이 적게 나타나며 구어체가 많이 반영되어 있다. 완판본 「구운몽」의 표기는 경판본에 비하여 상대적으로 복잡한 양상을 띤다. 이것은 전통적인 표기를 유지한 경향이 경판본보다는 강하면서도 현실 언어의 양상을 다양하게 반영한 데에서 기인한 결과이다. 특히 처격과 속격 조사로 ‘으’를 반영하고 있는 것은 전라 지역어의 구어의 특성을 잘 반영한 것으로 특징적이다. 음운 면에서는 ㄱ구개음화의 반영, 형태 면에서는 /ㅸ/을 지녔던 말들의 활용형이 일반적으로 /w/로의 변화를 반영하고 있는 것과 차이를 보이는 등의 특징이 보인다. 또한 ‘밭>밧’, ‘빛>빗’과 같이 어간 재구조화를 보이는 것들이 보인다. 그리고 사용 어휘에서 오늘날의 전라 방언에 대응하거나 비규범적인 형태로 간주되는 것들이 적지 않다. 이런 것들은 전라 방언적 요소로 볼 수 있는 것들로 앞으로 관심을 가지고 계속 관찰과 연구를 하여 전라 지역어의 역사적 연구의 소재로 삼을 필요가 있다. 그리고 문법적 특징에서 중세 국어와 연결이 되는 것을 보여 주는 것이 관찰되며 경판본의 양상과는 다른 양상을 드러내는 것이 보여 전라 지역에서 나온 판본으로서 개별성을 드러내고 있다.
Abstract
This article aims to examine the value of the Korean language of Wanpan version of Guunmong as a local language literature material by comparing the linguistic aspects of this place with the Gyeongpan version of Guunmong, focusing on notation, phonology, form, and vocabulary. The Wanpan version of Guunmong has a higher proportion of conversation compared to the first edition, the length of the sentence is long, but the structure is not complicated, the use of Chinese writing style is relatively less difficult, and the spoken language is much reflected. The Wanpan version of Guunmong is relatively complex compared to the Gyeongpan version of Guunmong. This is due to the fact that the tendency to maintain traditional notation is stronger than the hard copy and reflects various aspects of the real language. In particular, the fact that "eu(으)" is reflected through the execution and rapid investigation is characterized by the fact that it reflects the characteristics of spoken language in Jeolla Province. In the reflection of reflection of phonological change, there are features such as the reflection of the k-palatalization, and the use of words with /β/(ㅸ) are different from the general change to /w/. There are also fish restructuring such as 'bat>bas' and 'bich>bis'. In addition, there are many things in the vocabulary that are considered non-normative forms or responding to the Jeolla dialect. These can be seen as Jeolla dialect elements, and it is necessary to continue to observe and study them and use them as the subject of historical research in the Jeolla region. In addition, it is observed that it is connected to the medieval Korean language in its grammatical characteristics, showing its individuality as an edition from the Jeolla region, showing a different aspect from the script.
