語彙에 관한 메타언어 활동의 意義에 대한 연구－類義語들의 意味 辨別 活動을 중심으로－

그 동안 국어교육에서 어휘에 관한 메타언어 활동이 갖는 意義에 대해서는 거의 논의되지 못했다. ‘어휘에 관해서 생각해 보는 활동은 의의가 있을 것’이라는 막연한 推測만이 존재했다. 본고는 어휘에 관한 메타언어 활동이 구체적으로 어떤 측면에서 국어사용 능력 신장에 기여할 수 있는지를 理論的, 實證的으로 논함으로써 그 意義를 밝히고자 한 연구이다.메타언어 활동은 구체적으로 思考力 伸張과 言語 意識 고양에 기여함으로써 궁극적으로는 國語使用 能力 伸張에 기여한다. 유의어들의 의미를 변별하는 메타언어 활동을 실제 수업 시간에 교수 학습해 본 결과 학생들의 사고력 신장과 언어 의식 고양을 확인할 수 있었다. 語彙에 관한 메타언어 활동이 갖는 국어교육적 의의를 고려하여, 앞으로 메타언어 활동이 갖는 의의에 관한 연구는 더 다양하게 이루어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
Up to the present, the meaning of the metalinguistic activity about vocabulary has not studied. Only abstract idea that is meaningful is. This study is try to reveal the meaning of metalinguistic activity concretely. For this, this study puts to use theoretical and empirical method. Metalinguistic activity is a activity which controls, monitorings, reflects language knowledge and language activity. Because of the relevance of metalinguistic activity and metacognition activity, metalinguistic activity is thinking activity essentially. And metalinguistic activity needs a sensitivity and Exploration about language. So metalinguistic activity can contribute language awareness promotion. This study experiments the relevance metalinguistic activity and thinking, metalinguistic activity and language awareness centering around synonym discrimination activity. Metalinguistic activity centering around synonym discrimination activity promotes the thinking and language awareness of students. And so Meatalinguistic activity has a meaning on Korean education.
