20世紀 初 동아시아에 流通된『經國美談』 比較 考察 －玄公廉의 『經國美談』을 중심으로－

Abstract

In the 20th century Hyeon gong ryeom(玄公廉)'s keikoku-bidan(經國美談) is a remarkable work. The work in Japan or China, the original works was translated into Korean. This work was emphasized the in- dependence of the elements more than the original. Compared to the original, parts such as the importance of civil rights, political philosophy and the desire of the civilization have been omitted. Instead of excluding, talking about the preservation of the in- dependence of the patriots was added in the last scene. This part is related to the theme of the works. This work is to enhance the theme of patriotism. And instead of the political novel, Hyeon gong ryeom(玄公廉) picked sinsoseol(new novel) the subtitles. It shows that the translators intended to obtain many readers in publishing market. In short, the patriotism and the popularity Hyeon gong ryeom(玄公廉)'s keikoku-bidan(經國美談) by showing the works have been translated.
