윤지아, 2025, 17세기 강호가사의 문학적 의의와 교육적 활용 방안, 어문연구, 207 : 113~138 본고는 17세기 강호가사의 문학적 의의를 살펴보고 그 교육적 활용방안을 검토한 것이다. 고전시가 교육의 어려움은 이미 다수 연구에서 다루어졌으나, 17세기 이후의 강호가사 작품군에 대한 심층적 논의는 부족한 실정이다. 그럼에도 이 작품들이 수능과 모의고사에 출제 난이도를 높이는 지문으로 자주 활용된다는 점은 문제적인 현상이다. 이러한 문제의식에 따라, 본고는 고전시가 교육이 당대인들의 노래였다는 점을 장르 지식으로 전달해야 함을 주장하였다. 특히 가사는 17세기를 기점으로 자기표현을 위한 생활 문학으로서 그 영역이 확충되어 갔으므로, 이를 교육에 반영할 필요가 크다. 이에 더해 고전텍스트를 중심으로 한 철저한 어휘와 시구 분석 또한 함께 이루어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This paper examines the literary significance of 17th-century Gangho gasa and explores its educational applications. While the difficulties of teaching classical Korean poetry have been widely discussed, there is a lack of in-depth research on Gangho gasa works from the 17th century and beyond. This is problematic, given that these works are frequently used in college entrance exams and mock tests to increase difficulty. Building on this critical awareness, this paper argues that classical Korean poetry education should transmit the genre knowledge that these works were, in essence, the "songs" of people of their time. The gasa genre, in particular, expanded its scope to become a form of everyday literature for self-expression, a shift that should be reflected in modern education. Furthermore, this approach must be accompanied by a thorough, text-centered analysis of vocabulary and poetic phrasing.
