예비교원의 창의성 교육 방안 논의를 위한 사범계, 비사범계 대학생의 창의성 및 창의적 리더십 비교

초록

학교교육을 통한 창의적 인재육성의 필요성이 부각됨에 따라 본 연구에서는 대학에서 창의성 교육이 실시되어야 필요성과 예비 교원들에게 창의성 교육을 어떻게 실시할 것인지의 문제에 대해 논의하고자 하였다. 즉, 현재 교사를 대상으로 한 창의성 연수가 활발히 진행되고 있으나 교사 자신의 교수학습방법이 고착되었을 경우에는 전환이 어려운 경우가 있으며 지역적으로 연수를 통해 교사교육을 실시하기란 쉽지 않다. 따라서 교사가 되기 전에 대학에서 미리 예비교원을 대상으로 창의성 교육을 체계적으로 실시한다면 그 효과는 더욱 클 것이라고 가정하였다. 따라서 사범계 학생들과 창의성 관련 교과목을 수강한 비사범계 학생들의 창의성과 창의적 리더십을 측정하여 그 결과를 t-test를 통해 비교해보았다. 즉 사범대학이 설치된 D대학과 사범대학이 없는 S대학 학생 259을 대상으로 통합창의성 검사(이경화, 2014)와 창의적 리더십 검사(이경화, 박춘성, 2014)를 실시하여 집단 간 차이를 확인하였다. 그 결과에 의하면 창의성과 창의적 리더십에 있어서 비사범계 대학생들이 더 높게 나타났으며, 통계적 차이도 유의미하였다(p<.05). 그러나 창의적 능력과 창의적 성향의 하위요인과 창의적 리더십의 차원별 차이에 있어서는 다양성이 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과에서 미래에 중등학생들의 창의성 교육을 실시해야 할 예비교원을 육성해야 할 사범대학에서 학생들의 창의성과 창의적 리더십을 더욱 함양시켜야 필요성이 고려되었으며, 대처 방안으로 사범대학 교육과정에 창의성 관련 강좌의 개설이 필요함과 창의성을 함양할 수 있는 수업방법에 관해 논의할 수 있다.

Abstract

The development of human resources with creative education competency is most needed in this uncertain and complex global world for the economic growth and sustainable competitive power of the country. In this study, the problem of how to implement creativity education programs for pre-service prospective students has been examined, For the purpose of the study, a comparative study of a teachers college (named D) and a general college(termed S) students’ perception of creativity and creative leadership was conducted. 259 students from the both colleges participated in the surveys consisting of a integrative creative test and a creative leadership test, each developed and validated in Korean contexts. Data were statistically processed using t- test by SPSS win 12.0 Program. The main results showed that in the areas of creativity and creative leadership, a general college students’ perception is much higher than that of teachers college students and that there is a significant difference in the two college groups (p<.05). On the other hand, some diversities were found in the areas of sub-factors regarding the creative ability and the creative disposition and dimensions of creative leadership, These results would suggest that in near future creative teaching and creative leadership enhancement programs for pre-service prospective students should be developed and implemented in the curriculum of higher education.
