어머니의 반응적 상호작용 중재가 발달지체 위험 유아와 어머니의 사회적 상호작용행동에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구에서는 발달지체의 위험을 가진 유아의 어머니에게 실시한 반응적 상호작용 전략지도가 어머니와 유아의 사회적 상호작용 행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 어머니 두 명에게 반응적 상호작용 전략 네 가지 즉, 차례 주고받기의 균형을 맞추기, 발화 후 아동의 반응 기다리기, 어머니 또는 아동의 행동 설명하기, 아동의 발화 확장하기를 가르치고 어머니와 유아의 자연스러운 놀이 상황을 관찰하였다. 어머니와 유아의 상호작용 시작행동과 반응행동을 측정하기 위하여 가정에서의 놀이상황을 촬영하여 부분간격기록법을 사용하였다. 연구설계는 대상자간 중다기초선 설계를 이용하였다. 연구결과, 어머니들의 상호작용 시작행동과 반응행동은 긍정적으로 변화하였고 유아들의 상호작용 시작행동과 반응행동은 큰 변화를 보이지 않았다. 특히 상호작용 반응행동은 거의 변화가 없었다.

Abstract

In this study, mothers of young children with at-risk of developmental delays learned responsive interaction strategies, and the effects on the social interactions between mothers and their children were examined. Specifically, four strategies, such as balanced turn-taking, pause, descriptive talk, and expansion were taught to two mothers, and they were observed during play settings with their children at home. In order to measure interaction initiations and responses, the play settings between mothers and children were videotaped and were used through partial interval recording. Multiple baseline design across subjects were used as the research design. The results of this study showed that mothers’ interaction initiations and responses changed positively. On the other hand, children’s interactive behaviors showed little change. Especially, interaction responses of children showed almost no change.
