학교사회복지사 보수교육과정 개발을 위한 탐색적 연구

본 연구의 목적은 학교사회복지사 보수교육과정을 개발하여 현장 실무자의 전문성 강화를 도모하기 위한 근거를 마련하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 혼합방법을 적용하여 학교사회복지사 보수교육 요구도를 조사함과 동시에 학교사회복지 관련 전문가들을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 학교사회복지사 보수교육의 특수성, 고유성이 반영될 필요가 있음이 제안되었으며, 효과적인 운영을 위한 시스템들이 논의되었다. 구체적으로 연간 12평점으로 사회복지사 보수교육 운영 지침에 기초하며, 보수교육 영역은 학교사회복지사 직무 수행 강화 및 현장 적용 가능성을 높이는 것으로 제안하였다. 이에 본 연구의 의의는 제도화 정비 과정에서 시의적절한 연구로 학교사회복지사 보수교육과정을 개발하려는 탐색적 노력에 있다. 이를 시작으로 학교사회복지사의 전문성 강화를 위한 내실 있는 보수교육이 체계적으로 개발 및 운영될 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop continuing education contents for school social workers and thus to lay the foundation for enhancing professionalism of field workers. To achieve that, this researcher applied mixed methods to survey school social workers’ needs of continuing education and to conduct a focus-group interview with experts on school social work. As a result, this study suggested that it is necessary to reflect the speciality and uniqueness of continuing education for school social workers, and the systems for effective operation were discussed. Specifically, it is based on the guidelines for continuing education for social workers with 12 points per year, and the continuing education area is proposed to strengthen the job performance of school social workers and increase the applicability of the field. Therefore, this study is meaningful in the point that it tried to explore the development of continuing education for school social workers as the timing research in the course of system reorganization. It is expected that substantial continuing education for enhancing school social workers’ professionalism will be developed and operated systematically.
