개인중심계획 접근법 활용에 대한 특수교사의 인식

초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 개인중심계획(Person-Centered Planning) 접근법에 대한 특수교사의 인식을 살펴봄으로써 우리나라 교육 현장에서 개인중심계획 접근법이 적용될 수 있는 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 국내 특수교사 227명을 대상으로 하여 설문조사를 실시하고, 인식을 파악하기 위해 기술통계분석을 실행하였고, 배경 변인에 따른 인식 수준의 차이를 살펴보기 위해 독립표본 t 검증과 일원배치분산분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인중심계획에 대한 특수교사의 인식은 전반적으로 낮은 것으로 나타났으나, 개인중심계획의 개별화교육계획에의 활용 가능성과 정보공유 및 의사소통과 협력 가능성에 대해서는 긍정적으로 인식하였다. 둘째, 개인중심계획의 이해영역에 대해서는 학교유형과 학교급에 따라 집단 간 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 개인중심계획에 관련된 전문성 계발활동의 경험 여부에 따라 전반적인 인식에서 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 결론: 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 교육 현장에의 적용을 위한 시사점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine special education teachers' perceptions on Person-Centered Planning(PCP) approach to discuss desirable directions in the future. Method: This study conducted a survey, and 227 special education teachers participated. Descriptive analysis, independent sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA were conducted to analyze the collected data. Results: The results were as follows. First, participants' perceptions on PCP revealed to be negative, but they positively perceived that PCP can be an alternative method to develop IEPs and promote shared information, communication, and collaboration. Second, significant differences were found among participants in their perceptions(knowledge) based on the type of school and grade level. Depending on the level of participation in the professional development activities, participants' perceptions(total) were significantly different. Conclusion: Based on the results, implications and suggestions were provided.
