특수학교 교사의 감정표현규칙이 심리적소진에 미치는 영향: 감정노동의 매개효과를 중심으로

초록

연구목적: 본 연구에서는 특수학교 교사를 대상으로 감정표현규칙, 감정노동, 심리적소진 간의 구조적 관계를 검증해보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 특수학교 교사 278명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 특수학교 교사들의 감정표현규칙에 대한 인식은 감정노동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 감정표현규칙에 대한 인식이 높을수록 감정노동을 더 크게 느낀다. 또한 감정노동도 심리적소진에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 교사가 인식한 감정노동의 정도가 높을수록 심리적소진의 정도가 커지는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 특수학교 교사의 감정노동은 감정표현규칙과 심리적소진 간의 관계에서 부분 매개효과를 나타냄을 알 수 있다. 감정표현규칙은 심리적소진에 직접적으로 영향을 미치기도 하지만 감정노동을 경유하여 간접적으로 영향을 미치기도 한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론: 도출된 연구결과를 토대로 특수교육에서의 특수교사의 감정표현규칙, 감정노동, 그리고 심리적소진에 대한 교육적 함의와 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to verify the structural relationship between emotional display rules, emotional labor, and psychological burnout for special education teachers. Method: To achieve the purpose of the study, an online survey was conducted on 278 teachers of special schools. Second, the emotional labor of special education teachers showed a partial mediating effect in the relationship between emotional display rules and psychological burnout. It was confirmed that the rules of emotional display directly affected psychological exhaustion, but indirectly affected emotional labor. Results: First, the special education teachers' perceptions of emotional display rules affected emotional labor, so the higher the perception of emotional display rules, the greater the emotional labor. Conclusion: We discussed educational implications and suggestions for follow-up studies on the emotional display rules, emotional labor, and psychological exhaustion of special education teachers.
