대학생들의 아동학대예방 부모교육 개발 경험: 포토보이스를 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 대학생들이 아동학대예방 부모교육을 직접 개발하면서 어떠한 경험을 하였는지를 분석하기 위해 포토보이스를 활용하였다. 이에 따라 연구문제는‘대학생들의 아동학대예방 부모교육 개발과정에서의 경험은 어떠한가?’이다. 연구 참여자는 G시에 위치한 대학생 16명이며, 자료 수집은 2021년도 4월부터 5월까지 5주간 1주일에 3시간씩 아동학대예방 부모교육 개발에 참여하면서 느낀 경험을 포토보이스로 표현하였다. 그 결과 5개의 주제와 12개의 소주제가 도출되었다. 주제는 ‘자신을 돌아보는 시간’, ‘적극적인 부모교육 확대’, ‘가족: 평범한 일상이 주는 행복’, ‘관심과 사랑으로 보듬기’, ‘우리가 함께 책임져야할 일’등으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 함의는 대학생들이 아동학대예방 부모교육 개발 경험을 통해 사회문제에 대한 의식이 향상되고 이에 대한 적극적 대처를 할 수 있는 자신감을 가질 수 있었다는 점이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to use photovoice to analyze what kind of experiences college students had while developing child abuse prevention parent education. Accordingly, the research question is ‘What is the experience of college students in the development of child abuse prevention parent education?’ The participants were 16 college students located in G city, and the data collection was expressed through photovoice of experiences they felt while participating in the development of child abuse prevention parent education for 3 hours a week for 5 weeks from April to May 2021. As a result, 5 themes and 12 sub-themes were derived. Themes were ‘time to look after yourself’, ‘expansion of active parenting education’, ‘family: happiness of ordinary life’, ‘care with interest and love’, and ‘work that we must take responsibility for’. The implication of this study is that college students were able to improve their awareness of social problems and have the confidence to take active actions against them through the experiences of developing parental education to prevent child abuse.
