본 연구는 청소년에게 자살예방 프로그램이 어떠한 효과가 있는지 알아보기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 연구 대상은 자살예방 프로그램에 참여한 서울시 소재 D 중학교 131명의 학생과 통제집단으로 프로그램에 참여하지 않은 M 중학교의 118명이다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 자살예방 프로그램을 실시하기 전과 실시 후의 비교에서 실험집단의 자살위험성이 감소하였다. 자살위험성 척도의 하위요인 중에는 부정적 자기평가가 유의미하게 감소하였고, 자살태도에서도 실험집단이 통제집단보다 자살에 대한 이해도가 다소 긍정적으로 변화되었다. 청소년 자살예방 프로그램이 청소년의 자살위험을 감소시키는 데 효과가 있다는 점이 확인됨에 따라 청소년 자살예방 프로그램이 창의적 체험활동과 같은 학교교육과정에 포함됨으로써 자살예방에 기여할 수 있도록 실제적으로 학교에서 자살예방 프로그램 보급 방안이 마련되어야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of 'suicide prevention program' for suicidal prevention. For this purpose, we obtained raw data from 158 students of D middle school participated in the program and 118 students of M middle school were selected as a control group. Nonequivalent Control Group Design were used to compare the differences between the effects of the program. The result show that the program is effective on the reduction of suicidal risk and improvement of suicidal attitude. Negative self-evaluation and hopelessness of suicide probability scale show to reduce of the program. Also, suicidal attitude of experimental group was changed positively a little. As a result of this study, we can assure that 'suicide prevention program' in this study is positive effect to reduce suicide risk. It is suggested that suicide prevention programs are applied for middle school student in regular curriculum for effective suicide prevention.
