이 연구의 목적은 2009개정교육과정 기술・가정 교과서 ‘기술과 발명’ 단원 교육 내용 적정화 실태를 분석하는데 있다. 분석 방법으로는 내용량 분석과 난이도 분석을 실시하였으며 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내용량 분석 결과 2007개정교육과정 기술과 발명 단원에 비해 2009개정교육과정 기술과 발명 단원에서는 페이지 수 53.5%, 중단원 수 45,4%, 소단원 수 30.7%, 주제 수 37.8%의 감소하였다. 둘째, 난이도 분석 결과 2007개정교육과정 기술과 발명 단원에 비해 2009개정교육과정 기술과 발명 단원에서는 내용 요소가 8.5% 감소하였다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 첫째, 기술과 발명 단원을 대단원으로 편성하고 중단원으로 ‘기술의 이해’, ‘발명’으로 조직하고, 중단원인 발명은 ‘발명의 이해’, ‘발명과 특허’, ‘발명과 사고’, ‘발명 체험활동’으로 내용을 구성해야 하며, 발명 교육의 내용 체계 연구를 통해 핵심이 되는 주제를 도출하고 이를 12종 교과서 모두에 적용하여 심도 있는 발명 교육 내용 분석이 필요함을 제언한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the appropriateness of the education contents of the ‘Technology and Invention’ unit in ‘Technology&Home Economics’ textbooks of the 2009 revised educational curriculum. As for the analysis, the total amount of the content and the difficulty of the content have been analyzed, and results are as follows. First, the result of the analysis in total amount of the content indicates that the ‘Technology and Invention’ unit of the 2009 revised educational curriculum shows decreases of 53.5% in total pages, 45.4% in the number of middle units, 30.7% in the number of small units, and 37.8% in the number of topics compared to the ‘Technology and Invention’ unit of the 2007 revised educational curriculum. Second, the result of the analysis in difficulty of the content indicates that the components of the content have been reduced by 8.5% in the ‘Technology and Invention’ unit of 2009 revised educational curriculum compared to the 2007 revised educational curriculum. Based on the above results, I propose the following: The ‘Technology and Invention’ unit should be reorganized as a broader unit and the ‘Understanding Technology’ and ‘Invention’ units should be under-categorized as the sub-sections of the ‘Technology and Invention.’ And the ‘Invention’ unit should include the contents such as ‘Understanding Inventions’, ‘Inventions and Patents’, ‘Inventions and Considerations’, and ‘Hand-on Activities of Inventions.’ Further, through the studies of systematic contents of the invention education, the core themes should be emerged out and applied to all 12 types of current textbooks so that the in-depth analysis of invention contents could take place.
