다문화가정 초기 청소년의 문화정체성 잠재프로파일과 예측요인

초록

본 연구는 다문화가정 초기 청소년의 문화정체성 잠재프로파일을 분류하고, 분류된 잠재프로파일에 영향을 미치는 예측요인을 탐색하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구대상은 한국청소년정책연구원의 다문화청소년패널조사 2011(Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study 2011: 이하 MAPS)의 초4패널 5차년도 응답한 1,347명이었다. 자료 분석을 위해 1단계 접근방법을 보완한 3단계 접근방법을 활용하여 잠재프로파일 분석, 다항로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 분석 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 다문화가정 초기 청소년의 문화정체성 잠재프로파일은 ‘통합형’,‘내적성찰형’,‘내적갈등형’,‘부조화형’의 4가지 유형으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 다문화가정 초기 청소년의 문화정체성 잠재프로파일 분류에 영향을 미치는 예측요인을 살펴본 결과, 개인요인 중에서는 성별, 자아존중감, 삶의만족도, 우울이, 환경요인 중에서는 교우관계, 교사관계가 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 다문화가정 초기 청소년의 문화정체성은 다양한 양상을 보이며, 다문화가정 초기 청소년의 문화정체성을 확립하는데 개인차를 고려해야 함을 의미한다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 다문화가정 초기 청소년의 문화정체성 확립을 위한 개입 방안에 있어서 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

Abstract

The present study examined the latent profiles patterns of early adolescents' cultural identity in multicultural families, and further sought to explore determinants of the patterns. Data were collected from 1,347 students who had participated in the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study(MAPS). To analyze the data, latent profile analysis was performed using Mplus 8.0. The results of the study were as follows. Firstly, the patterns of the four subtypes such as 'Integration type', 'internal reflection type', 'internal conflict type', 'incongruity type'. Secondly, gender, self-esteem, life satisfaction, depression , relationships with teachers and peer were significant determinants. The implications for prevention and intervention for early adolescents' cultural identity are also discussed.
