The purpose of this paper is to investigate present and future of online Japanese literature education. November 30, 2000, nine schools have been authorized the installation of cyber universities. And April 1st, 2007, the number of students and graduates are more than 100,000 people. Expansion of the quantity of short time would be expected to more potential demand. There are 122 departments of 17 cyber universities, and 6 cyber universities have Japan or Japanese studies. This research is studied to investigate current situation and to present the right direction for the future online Japanese literature education. The education through the cyber space will bring remarkable changes and benefits. In this paper we suggest four advices to improve online Japanese literature education.
