전통 시대 한문 학습법에 관한 일고찰 -영조의 장헌세자 교육을 중심으로-

본고는 오랜 동안 축적된 학습 경험을 바탕으로 형성된 전통시대 한문 학습법의 한 측면을 검토하기 위해 작성되었다. 과거의 문헌에는 국왕과 왕세자의 학습 과정을 적어둔 공식 기록이 매우 많은데, 그 중에서 국왕 영조가 장헌세자를 교육하던 모습을 중심으로 본 논의를 진행하였다. 이를 통해 장헌세자 교육을 위한 영조의 의견들을 알아보았으며 실제 수업의 현장에서 쟁점이 되었던 수업의 절차와 방식에 대해 알아보았다. 본 논의가, 현재의 학습 방법에 전통적 한문 학습 방법을 결합하여 더 높은 학습 효과를 이끌어낼 수 있는 발판이 되기를 기대한다.
Abstract
This study was prepared to review one aspect of teaching methods for learning Chinese characters in the traditional period, which were forged on the basis of accumulated learning experiences over a long period of time. In past literature, there are many official records concerning the learning processes of kings and crown princes. Among others, the study proceeded to this discussion focusing on the appearance of King Yeongjo’s education of Prince Jangheon. Through the process, the study looked into the opinions of King Yeongjo during the education of Prince Jangheon and reviewed the procedure and method of the class, which became the key issue in the actual class. Hopefully, this discussion will be a foothold for drawing a higher educational effect with a combination of the current teaching methods and traditional Chinese characters teaching methods.
