본 논문은 현행 학술논문에서 발견되는 漢文原典資料 活用의 오류 실태를 분석한 것으로, 그 목적은 한문교육의 중요성을 강조하기 위한 것이다. 연구의 범위는 한문원전자료 활용의 면모를 고려하여, 敎育史學, 歷史民俗學, 音樂史學, 美術史學 등 네 분야 학회지에 수록된 2000년 이후의 최근 논문에 한정하였다.학술논문에서 한문원전자료를 입력하면서 범하고 있는 글자 차원의 오류를 분석한 결과, 틀린 글자를 입력한 誤字, 글자를 빠뜨린 脫字 등이 난무하고 있음이 발견되었다. 학술논문에서 한문원전자료를 인용하면서 표시한 句讀는, 일정한 원칙이 결여되어 있으며 잘못 표시된 것들이 자주 발견되었다.현행 학술논문의 한문원전자료 독해는 한문어학 소양의 부족으로 인하여 원전자료의 내용을 심각하게 왜곡하고 있었다. 또한 원전자료에 서술된 당시의 인명, 지명, 서명 등의 物名과 풍습, 문화, 사회제도 등등을 이해하지 못하여 내용을 자주 왜곡하고 있었다.학술논문에서 한문원전자료를 활용하면서 범하고 있는 오류들은, 필자의 단순한 부주의라 간주할 수 있는 것도 있지만, 어떤 것들은 그 정도가 너무 심하여 차마 눈으로 볼 수 없는 것이었다. 보다 더 심각한 문제는 연구자들이 이처럼 극심한 오류를 범하면서도 스스로의 오류를 자각하지도 못한 채 연구를 계속 진행하고 있다는 점이었다.학술논문에 한문원전자료를 활용할 때 발생하는 갖가지 오류를 줄일 수 있는 방법을 모색해야 한다. 초, 중, 고등학교로부터 대학에 이르기까지 한문교육을 강화하는 것은 가장 기본적인 조치이다. 아울러 모든 한국학 관련 분야의 논문은 한문원전자료를 활용할 때 한문 전공자들에게 교열을 받도록 해야 한다. 이때 교열자의 이름을 밝히고 그의 업적을 인정해주도록 하는 제도적 장치를 마련해야 한다.
Abstract
This treatise analyzes the actual condition of errors in the use of original material of Chinese writing that are found in current treatises. The aim of it is to emphasize the importance of Chinese literature education. With aspects of the use of the material being considered, the study has been conducted within the scope of four academic journals ; 「敎育史學(History of Education)」,「歷史民俗學(Historical Folklore)」, 「音樂史學(Historico－Musicology)」, 「美術史學(Art History). A analysis of insertion errors that belong to characters shows that lots of wrong and missing characters have been found in treatises. From lack of Chinese character attainments, in the current treatises is serious misinterpretation of contents in epigrams quoted from the original material. Another factor of misinterpretation is lacking in understanding of names－people, places, books－ customs, culture, and social systems, etc. It could be possible that these errors are considered writers' simple carelessness. Some of these, however, are too heavy to accept. The worse problem is that scholars have been conduction studies without consciousness of their own errors. Devices that can reduce these errors should be investigated. It is the most fundamental measures that Chinese literature education grow to be strengthened from elementary schools to universities. Besides, everytime being used original material of Chinese writing, all treatise related Korean studies should be revised by specialists in Chinese literature. At this time, it is a systemic device that revisor's name and achievements can be acknowledged.
