본 논문은 한자 및 한문원전 인용오류 문제를 검토하는 자리에서 국어사전 한자 표제어의 오류와 글 한자관련 오류 문제를 다룬 것이다. 국어사전의 한자 표제어의 오류문제는 인터넷 상에서 검색할 수 있는 사전과 서적으로 출간된 사전을 그 대상으로 하였다. 여기에서 검토의 대상이 된 자료는 표준국어대사전(국립국어원)·우리말큰사전(한글학회)·국어대사전(민중서림)이다. 각 사전을 검토해 본 결과 많은 오류를 내포하고 있는데 특히 인터넷으로 검색할 수 있는 사전의 오류가 더 심하였다. 이는 많은 사람들이 편의상 인터넷을 이용한다는 점을 고려할 때 심각성이 제고된다. 내용상으로는 단순 한자 표기의 오류와 해설상의 오류로 나누어 살펴보았는데 해설상의 오류는 전문가가 아니면 바로잡을 수 없다는 점이 그 문제로 지적되었다. 따라서 국어사전을 편찬할 경우에 국어학자 뿐만 아니라 각계의 전문가들이 모여 깊은 토론을 거친 뒤 시간을 갖고 사전을 편찬하여야 할 것이다. 글 오류의 문제는 이와는 성격을 달리하지만 보다 편리하고 정확하게 글을 이용할 수 있도록 관심을 갖기를 촉구한다. 글 한자 관련 오류 문제는 한자의 음과 뜻, 그리고 한자사전에 등록된 한자어를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 각계에서 실적위주의 성과물에 급급하기 보다는 하나라도 차근차근 기초부터 튼튼하게 하는 작업이 필요할 것으로 보인다.
Abstract
This thesis paper deals with errors of Korean and Chinese words of Hangeul Word proses, when Chinese and Chinese－origin－cited errors were checked. Errors of Chinese words in Korean dictionary weredealt with only dictionaries that were abled to search in Internet and bookstores. Here are the dictionaries we used; Standard Korean Dictionary, Woorimal Great Dictionary, Korean Great Dictionary. They have many errors. Especially Internet searchable dictionaries had more serious errors. Today many people use Internet dictionary because it’s convenient, so it’s very serious issue. In contents, we look over in errors of simple spelling and explanation that error of explanation is hard to be fixed, if he or she is not an expert. Accordingly, when Korean dictionary is compiled, not only Korean scholars but also all other experts have to gather for discussion in depth. Problems of effors in Hangeul Word proses are different matter, but we urge for more convenient and precise search. In errors of Chinese in Hangeul Word proses, we concentrated on tone and meanings of Chinese in Chinese words of Chinese dictionary. In many areas, we need such a work that makes firm foundation than only result.
