The report is going to show the characteristics of the intonation about Japanese native speaker's ‘YO’ throughout of acoustic phonetics analysis as a basic level to clarify the characteristics of intonation according to the intention of speaker about the sentence-final particles's ‘YO’. In order to improve the skill of communication of Korean Japanese learners through phonetic language, the study researched the phonetic characteristics of Japanese native speaker's to show the intonation of sentence-final particles's ‘YO’ to communicate the talking intention with the only the change of intonation. The aim is to gather the necessary basic data to teach systematically the expressive intention of speaker and responsive relationship of intonation. With the study we are going to get the fundamentals to pursue the effective teaching method of the intonation of ‘YO’ throughout analysing the meaningful characteristics in spite of incomplete analysis the characteristics of phonetics to consist of the intonation ‘YO’.
