재일코리안 디아스포라 문화자원으로서 연구사 고찰 -1945년 이후 재일코리안 관련 연구성과를 중심으로-

Abstract

This paper through analyzing the researchers and research content in the cultural resource field from 1945 to 2010, exhibits the historical process of the research on the Korean diasporas in Japan. At the beginning, this paper exhibits the research history of Koreans in Japan distinguished in chronological sequence: from 1945 to 1960, as the Korea–Japan Conference and the line problem of Syngman Rhee were the main issue between Korea and Japan, the actual research on the migration history of Koreans in Japan and its legal position were also gradually becoming a serious issue. In 1960s, with the reopening of the Korea-Japan Conference, the opposite atmosphere and the introduction of capital & technology from Koreans in Japan, the returned business had become an important agenda since 1959. In 1970s, after the founding of the Korea-Japan Conference, the legal status of Koreans in Japan and the opposite ideologies between Mindan and Chongryon had become the dominant problem. Around 1980,with the coming of globalization era and the ethnic discrimination movement of Koreans in Japan, the human right of Koreans in Japan as well as the ethnic identity of the 3rd and the 4th generation of Koreans in Japan had emerged as main issues since the late 1980s. And then from the late 1990sand after 2000, the Japanese society proposed the multicultural co-existing which had become the main feature of this period. Through collecting the cultural resources of the research history of Koreans in Japan, the results show that their diaspora experience in their daily life and cultural life is interlinked with the society status, the Diaspora studies of Korean Japanese include the advocacy and identity as well as the ethnic discrimination of Koreans in Japan, the local community, co-existing etc. There are some implications in this study, under the transnational global era, Diaspora studies have developed into a much higher stage which is beyond the boundary of nations and countries. With the view of transnational and trans-ethnic, through raising the cultural heritage of diasporas studies to academic field, it is greatly enlarged the domain of diaspora studies. This paper through analyzing the cultural resources of Korean diasporas in Japan, tries to investigate the actual situation of Korean-Japanese from different perspectives, and it also supplies a variety of research methods in diaspora studies.
