칙찬한시집의 여성화자시 연구-반첩여(班婕妤)와 왕소군(王昭君) 시를 중심으로-

본 논문은 중국 육조시대 이래의 한시에 자주 시제(詩題)로 등장하는 반첩여(班婕妤)와 왕소군(王昭君)이라는 한나라 시대 역사상의 두 여인이 당풍구가(唐風歐歌)시대라고 불렸던 9세기 초반의 일본 한시에서는 어떻게 다루어지고 있었는가를 고찰한 것이다. 육조시대 여성시를 총망라한 시선집『옥대신영(玉臺新詠)』과 일본의 칙찬한시집『료운슈(凌雲集)』(814) 『분카슈레이슈(文華秀麗集)』(819)『게이코쿠슈(經國集)』(827)에 실린 반첩여와 왕소군 시를 비교하며, 헤이안 초기 한시의 특징을 짚어보는 데에 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 육조시대 중국 한시에서의 반첩여와 왕소군 시는 모두 사적인 장에서 개인적으로 읊은 것이지만, 헤이안 초기 일본 한시에서의 반첩여와 왕소군 시는 그 대부분이 사가(嵯峨) 천황과 문인 관료가 군신창화(君臣唱和)의 형태로 반첩여나 왕소군의 입장 즉, 여성화자적 입장에서 그녀들의 비극을 읊었다는 사실을 확인할 수 있는 것이다. 이를 통해 9세기 초반 사가 천황이 중심이 된 일본 시단의 한시 창작방법은 중국과는 차이가 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.
Abstract
In the 'Ryouunshuu', 'Bunkashuureishuu', and 'Keikokushuu', Imperial Compilations of Chinese poems collected during the reign of the king of Saga in the early Heian period, there is a poem about thw two ladies, Ban-cheobyeo and Wang-sogoon. Ban-cheobyeo is a woman of misfortune who was favored by the Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and but later lost her love to Zobiyeon. Wang-sogoon is a woman of misfortune who was forced to marry the King of Xiongnu as a tribute, although she had already been married to the Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty. This thesis examines how the Chinese poetry related to Ban-cheobyeo and Wang-sogoon was accepted and treated in the era of the Emperor Saga, when compared with the poetry of the Six Dynasties Period in China. The findings show that male bureaucrats including Emperor Saga wrote poems on the theme of Ban-cheobyeo and Wang-sogoon from the standpoint of Chinese women, which is unique to Chinese poetry written in Japan, because such a format is not found in original Chinese poetry.
