2025년 한일 정상회담 공동언론발표에 대한한·일 댓글 담화 분석연구-수사학적 전략을 중심으로-

본 연구는 2025년 8월 23일 도쿄에서 개최된 한‧일 정상회담 공동언론발표 관련 뉴스 댓글을 대상으로, 로고스·파토스·에토스 전략별 사용양상을 비교하였다. 또한, 카이제곱 검정과 KH Coder 기반 공기 네트워크 분석을 통하여 정량·정성 결과를 통합적으로 고찰하였다. 분석 결과, 일본어 댓글은 인과·대조 논리와 수사적 질문 등 로고스 전략의 비중이 상대적으로 높았고, 한국어 댓글은 파토스 전략과 지도자 평가가 두드러졌다. 에토스 측면에서 한국어 댓글은 정치인·집단 평가와 경험적 진술을 통해 진정성을 부각한 반면, 일본어 댓글은 역사적 권위와 제도적 근거 인용으로 신뢰를 확보했다. 공기 네트워크 분석을 통해서는 한국은 역사·정치 갈등과 감정 호소가 결속된 군집을, 일본은 경제 지표와 국제적 위상에 근거한 정당화 군집을 형성하는 양상을 보였다. 즉 한국어 댓글 담화는 집단 감정의 동원과 연대 강화, 일본 댓글 담화는 권위 기반의 논리적 일관성을 통해 설득력을 확보하는 경향이 확인되었다. 본 논문은 댓글 담화에서 나타나는 수사학적 전략의 선택을 통계적·텍스트 마이닝 접근을 병행하여 실증적으로 규명하였다는데 학문적 기여도가 높을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study compared the use of logos, pathos, and ethos strategies in online news comments on the Korea–Japan summit’s joint press announcement (August 23, 2025). Quantitative and qualitative traits were identified via chi-square tests and KH Coder–based co-occurrence network analysis. Results indicate that Japanese comments relied more on Logos—causal/contrast logic and rhetorical questions—whereas Korean comments leaned toward Pathos and leader evaluation. In Korean comments, ethos came up to judge politicians or groups and as a way to make claims based on experience. In Japanese comments, ethos came from historical authority and institutional citations. Network maps indicated Korea clustered around historical–political conflict and emotional appeals, while Japan clustered around economic indicators and international status–oriented justification. Overall, Korean discourse mobilized collective emotions and solidarity, whereas Japanese discourse emphasized logical consistency grounded in authoritative warrants, underscoring the value of treating comments as rhetorical discourse for statistical and text-mining analysis of online persuasion.
