우리말 속에서 사용되는 일본어 투 용어와 순화어에 관한 고찰 -대학생을 대상으로 한 설문조사 결과를 중심으로-

본 연구는 일본어 투 용어 30개와 그에 대응하는 순화어에 관하여 대학생들을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 사용빈도와 특징을 고찰한 것이다. 고찰 결과 일본어 투 용어의 사용 빈도는 72%였고 순화어의 사용 빈도는 70%로 거의 비슷하였다. 그리고 사용률의 남녀 차이와 일본어 전공자와 타 전공자 간의 차이는 매우 미미하였다. 사용률이 높은 일본어 투 용어 중에는 ʻ간지나다ʼ, ʻ삑사리나다ʼ, ʻ유도리있다/없다ʼ와 같은 일본어와 한국어가 혼합된 용언의 형태가 많았다. 일본어 투 용어에 대한 순화어의 필요성에 대해서는 ʻ꼭 순화할 필요가 없다ʼ 와 ʻ가급적이면 순화해야 한다ʼ 가 40%대로 비슷한 응답률을 보였다. 일상에서 익숙하게 사용되는 용어에 대해서는 순화의 필요성을 별로 느끼지 않고 있는 것으로 파악된다.
Abstract
Based on the survey result from college students, this study examines the usage frequency and characteristics of 30 Japanese style terms commonly used in Korean language and their corresponding Korean expression. As a result of the survey, the usage frequency of Japanese terms is 72%, and the frequency of using Korean words is 70%, almost the same as Japanese terms. In addition, the difference of usage frequency between men and women and between Japanese major students and the other major is very small. Japanese terms mixed Korean verbs are the most frequently used expressions, such as ʻganjinadaʼ, ʻbixarinadaʼ, and ʻyudoriitta/eopdaʼ As for the need to convert Japanese style terms to Korean words, the same 40% of the students responded both to ‘no need to convert’and to ‘need to convert as much as possible. It is understood that the students do not feel urgency of changing Japanese terms which are familiar and commonly used in their daily lives.
