초록

The purpose of this study is to propose a program that brings together mythol-ogy, science, and dance in an educational context. This fusion is driven by the need for convergence education, which combines diverse disciplines to offer a comprehensive learning experience. Myths are regarded as humanity's earliest endeavors to make sense of the world and human experiences. These offer a unique lens through which individu- als can view the universe, nature, and existence as a whole. Myths serve not only to explain natural phenomena but also to symbolically convey human values, mor- als, and ethical principles. The stories within myths can be interpreted to reflect on human nature and guide individuals toward desirable behaviors and attitudes. Myths often contain elements of science, albeit in a metaphorical or allegorical form. These scientific elements within myths can provide an opportunity for stu- dents to contemplate human nature, societal values, and the relationship between humans and the natural world. By analyzing the science-related narratives within myths, students can develop a deeper understanding of scientific principles while also reflecting on the implications of these principles on human life and society. The program is tailored for elementary school students in grades 3 to 6, aiming to merge the realms of mythology, science, and dance into an engaging educa- tional experience. By analyzing scientific narratives found in myths and textbook content, students will delve into topics spanning the earth, sky, life, and energy. Through a structured curriculum, students will engage in various stages of explo- ration, creative expression, and collaborative sharing. It goes beyond individual subjects of mythology and science. It underscores the application and development of artistic media, encompassing mythology, sci- ence, and movement. By exploring the intersections of these disciplines, students will not only deepen their grasp of scientific knowledge but also understand the intricate relationships between different fields of study.
