Abstract

At the time of 6·25 War, the hegemonic conflict of South and North Korean Nationalism which is raised sharply disrupt the base of the neutrality that is developed comparatively after the liberation. This point is applied to not only the line of politics but the literature in the same way. However, in the poetic aspect which responds to the Korean Civil War, we can find the possibility of neutrality at the poetry that the concreteness of the life system is the main trend of idea for a poem than the ideal war ideology. These poetry are achieved the poetic credibility and the experienced universality, unlike the unfamiliar and strained usage of ideological deviations that the Nationalism poetry has. And it arouses the humanism and antiwar idea that can be the province of war literature. Therefore in this poetry, we can reflect on the ideological truth of South and North Korean Nationalism poetry critically. Tracing the neutral topography in War Literature has important meaning in the point that checks the province of war poet and finds the base of reflecting and evaluating the war poetry which is based on the Nationalism in the balanced point of view. And it is related to groping the overcome of futuristic separation structure or the unified generation’s issue in the modern poetry history that is considered as a time of division structure's realization(1945~1959) that is started with the Korean Civil War, a time of deepening(1960~79), and the time of turning point(1980~now). The literature's issue of unified generation can be possible from the realization of experienced credibility and universality that is based on the moderation stage which is combined the perspicuous participation and strict objective attitude that is free from the bias of ideology of South and North Korean Nationalism.
