Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of three recovery methods on blood lactate and median frequency after anaerobic wingate test. Twelve Judo athletes were conducted to undergo whole body vibration recovery (VibTx), dynamic recovery (DyTx), passive recovery (StaTx) by random assignment after anaerobic test using the wingate cycle tests on one week interval. Blood lactate concentration and electromyography's median frequency of the subjects were measured immediately before and after the tests, 10 min and 30 min after the experiment. Blood lactate concentration was significantly decreased in VibTx and DyTx compared to StaTx. And median frequency of electromyography was significantly increased in VibTx and DyTx compared to StaTx. However, there was no significant difference of blood lactate concentration and median frequency in VibTx and DyTx after wingate cycle tests. In conclusion, we suggest that VibTx and DyTx may be more effective than StaTx in shortening the recovery time of muscle fatigue.
