석전 박한영 시의 규모와 체계화 방안

본고는 석전 박한영이 남긴 시(詩)의의 규모를 정밀하게 파악하고 시의 특질에 맞는 체계화 방안을 마련하는 것을 목표로 한다. 『석전시초』에는 전체 428제, 602수의 시가 <석전시초후자서(石顛詩鈔后自敘)> 등의 산문 3편과 함께 실려 있다. 그중 석전 본인이 차운․화운한 시의 원운(原韻) 5수를 실어둔 경우를 제외하면 『석전시초』에는 423제 597수의 석전 시가 실려 있는 셈이다. 『석전시초』에 실린 시의 형태적․내용적 특질을 살펴보면 크게 4가지 지점을 지적할 수 있다. 첫째는 석전이 칠언시, 그중에서도 율시를 선호했다는 점이고, 둘째는 기행시가 상당한 비중을 차지한다는 점이다. 셋째는 『석전시초』의 시가 생애 서사적 구성을 가지고 있다는 점이며, 넷째는 석전의 시가 고고하게 홀로 읊조리는 독백이 아닌, 타인과의 관계 속에서 지어진 ‘대화의 시’이자 ‘소통의 시’라는 점이다. 『석전속시초』는 207제 410수의 시로 구성되어 있었으며, 『석전시초』에서와 마찬가지로 본인이 차운한 시의 원운 5수를 제외하면 202제 405수의 석전 시가 실려 있었다. 시의 특질은 『석전속시초』에서도 『석전시초』와 마찬가지로 칠언시 선호의 특질이 드러났으며 또한 시사적(詩史的) 성격이 강하게 드러났다. 근대불교잡지나 신문에서는 석전의 시 32건을 확인할 수 있었고, 특히 『조선불교월보』와 『해동불보』에 집중되어 있었다. 이 밖에도 석전의 시와 연관된 자료로 석전의 시가 실린 자료로 『한동아집첩(漢衕雅集帖)』과 <동인시권(同人詩卷)>, <산벽시사 서화합벽도(珊碧詩社書畵合璧圖)> 등의 시화첩과 석전이 직접 편(編)한 『단금집초(斷錦集鈔)』 그리고 석전산방(石顚山房) 직인이 찍힌 『한객건연집』 등의 자료를 파악할 수 있었다. 이 중 시초 2권은 역주하여 석전 전서에 포함할 예정이다. 그밖에 잡지․신문 등에 실린 시와 시화첩․시선집 등은 석전의 시와 공간적으로 근접한, 즉 잡지에서는 석전의 시 앞뒤로 실려 관계를 맺고 있는 시와 한 시화첩에 실린 자료들은 모두 유관 자료로 파악하여 전체를 자료집의 형태로 출간할 예정이다.
Abstract
This paper aims to accurately assess the scale of the poetry left by Seokjeon (石顚) Park Hanyeong (朴漢永) and to propose a systematization plan suitable for the characteristics of his poems. In Seokjeonsicho (石顚詩鈔), a total of 428 titles and 602 poems were published along with three prose pieces. Seokjeonsoksicho (石顚續詩鈔) consists of 207 titles and 410 poems. Similar to Seokjeonsicho, it also included five original poems that served as the basis for his own secondary-rhyme poems; excluding these leaves 202 titles and 405 of Seokjeon's poems. In Seokjeonsoksicho, as in Seokjeonsicho, a preference for seven-character (七言) poems was evident, and a strong historical (詩史的) character was also revealed. In modern Buddhist magazines and newspapers, 32 of Seokjeon's poems have been found, with the poems being concentrated in JoseonBulgyoWolbo (朝鮮佛敎月報) and HaedongBulbo (海東佛報). In addition, materials related to Seokjeon's poetry include sources such as the Handongajipcheop (漢洞雅集帖). Among these, the two volumes of the Sicho (詩鈔) will be translated with commentary and included in the complete works of Seokjeon, while the poems published in magazines, poetry albums, and poetry collections will be published separately in the form of a data collection.
