Abstract
After the Fukushima nuclear accident, there is a meaningful change in a direction of the public opinion on the nuclear power generation in the major countries. Therefore, it deserves academic attention as much as the public feel the risk from the nuclear power generation. This will address the changes in public opinion on the nuclear power generation and will compare the public opinions from the sample countries with the Korean case. The findings will allow the policy experts in Korea to understand the public opinion and to persuade the public on behalf of the public safety of the nuclear power generation. Based on these discussions, this will provide the nuclear industry with a policy suggestion for a sustainable nuclear power supply.
