Data were collected through a survey of 250 employees selected using purposive sampling from 20 workplaces located in Gyeonggi Province and Chungcheong Province. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS PC+ Win ver. 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro ver. 4.2, and the research findings are as follows. First, correlation analysis among the key variables indicated a significant positive correlation among self-efficacy, hope, and job satisfaction. Second, the analysis of the simple mediating effect of hope on the relationship between self-efficacy and job satisfaction confirmed that hope acts as a mediator. Specifically, higher levels of self-efficacy were associated with higher levels of hope, and in the relationship between self-efficacy and job satisfaction, higher levels of hope were linked to greater job satisfaction. Based on these findings, strategies to enhance employees' self-efficacy and hope to improve job satisfaction were suggested.
