에스겔서에 나타난 미쉬파트(jP'v.m) 연구

이 논문은 파수꾼 에스겔이 선포한 메시지의 핵심 단어로 사용되는 미쉬파트가 에스겔서의 전체 내용과 구조 속에서 어떤 특징을 가지고 있으며 어떤 역할을 하는지를 다루고 있다. 이것을 위해 미쉬파트를 포함하고 있는 각 단락의 내용과 구조와 단어를 분석하였다. 히브리어 미쉬파트는 에스겔서에 43번 나타나는데 ‘규례’의 의미로 20번, ‘정의’의 의미로 9번 사용되고 있다. 전자는 ‘후카’/‘호크’(율례)와 짝을 이루어 나타나고, 후자는 ‘체다카’(공의)와 짝을 이루어 나타난다. 그런데 이 용어들은 특별한 단락에 집중되어 나타나며 거기에서 독특한 역할을 한다. 특별히 에스겔서에서 미쉬파트는 이스라엘의 심판(겔 1-24장)과 이스라엘의 회복(겔 33-48장)을 선포한 에스겔의 메시지의 핵심 단어로서 역할을 한다. 즉 미쉬파트는 파수꾼 에스겔이 선포한 메시지를 구성하는 기본 개념으로 사용되었는데(겔 3장; 33장), 겔 1-24장에서는 ‘이스라엘이 심판을 받는 이유를 설명’하는 핵심 단어로, 겔 33-48장의 이스라엘 회복에 관한 신탁 속에서는 ‘이스라엘 백성들’의 삶을 위한 지침으로(겔 37:24), ‘제사장들’의 직무를 위한 지침으로(겔 44:24), 그리고 ‘지도자들’의 통치 지침으로(겔 45:9)서 역할을 한다. 이런 견지에서 미쉬파트는 에스겔서에서 가장 영향력 있는 핵심 단어이며, 에스겔서의 이야기의 흐름을 주도하는 역할을 하고 있는 것이다.

Abstract

This paper deals with characteristics and functions of mishpāṭ used as a key word of a watchman Ezekiel's message in the book of Ezekiel. For this, I will exam contents, structures, and languages of each section including mishpāṭ in the book of Ezekiel. Hebrew mishpāṭ occurs 43 times in the book of Ezekiel. It is almost translated to laws (20 times) or justice (9 times). The mishpāṭ used as meaning of 'laws' appears with Hebrew ḥuqqȃ/ḥoq and the mishpāṭ used as meaning of 'justice' appears with Hebrew ṣedāqȃ. In particular, the terms appear in some special sections in the book of Ezekiel and they play important roles there. The mishpāṭ appearing with ḥuqqȃ/ḥoq or with ṣedāqȃ serves as key words for Ezekiel's oracles concerning both the punishment of Israel and the restoration of Israel. In order words, the mishpāṭ is used as a basic conception composing the messages which a watchman Ezekiel proclaimed (Ezek 3:16-21; 33:1-9), as a key word explaining the reason concerning the punishment of Israel in chapters 1-24, as a guide for Israel people's living (Ezek 37:24) in the oracles concerning the restoration of Israel (chapters 33-48), as a guide for priests’ task (Ezek 44:24), and as a guide for political leaders (Ezek 45:9). In this view, it is likely that these three terms serve as a main conception of watchman Ezekiel's messages and play a key role in leading the whole story, the oracles concerning the punishment of all Israel and the oracles concerning the restoration of Israel, in the book of Ezekiel.
