인간은 홀로이기도 하지만 동시에 늘 타인과 함께 살아간다. 인간 존재 자체가 타인과의 만남이라는 관계형성 속에서 이루어지는 것은 너무나 당연해 보인다. 이 내용을 이론적으로 체계화한 학자가 마틴 부버이다. 부버는 만남의 개념을 사상적으로 개념화하고 정리하였다. 역사를 거슬러 올라가 과거 어느 사회뿐만 아니라 현대를 사는 우리에게도 현대사회는 인간에 대한 본연적 질문과 실존적 만남은 무엇이며 이에 따른 교육이 왜 필요한지 고민해봄직하다. 각 나라와 문화마다 교육에 대한 양태가 다르므로 상황에 따라 다르게 적용되어야 하겠지만 인간의 실존이라는 당면된 문제에서는 시대와 성별, 문화를 초월하여 고찰할 가치가 있다. 이것을 교육적 상황에 접목하여 이론화하고 부버의 나와 너의 만남이라는 주요 개념을 전통적 교육이론과 설명할 뿐 아니라 나아가 현대적인 종합화를 시도한다.
Abstract
Human beings are alone but at the same time always live with others. It seems so natural that human beings themselves are formed in the relationship formation with others. The scholar who theoretically organized this is Martin Buber. Buber thoughtfully conceptualized and organized the concept of meeting. As we go back in history and live in modern society as well as in the past, modern society has to wonder what the natural questions and existential encounters with humans are and why education is needed. Different countries and cultures have different aspects of education and should be applied differently depending on the situation, but it is worth considering beyond the age, gender, and culture in the immediate problem of human existence. Incorporating this into the educational situation, theorizing and explaining the main concepts of Buber's meeting with you, the traditional educational theory, and further modernization.
