위험사회에 필요한 대학교양교육의 사고체계 탐색—코로나19 팬데믹 이후 시대의 상상력 구현—

코로나19 팬데믹 시대를 맞이하여 다양한 위험사회의 양상들이 현대사회를 지배하고 있다. 이제 이 위험사회에 대응하기 위한 사회구성원들의 교양지식 교육은 더욱 중요해지고있다. 본 연구의 목적은 이 같은 시대 상황에 부합할 수 있도록 코로나19 팬데믹 이후의위험사회에서 요구되는 대안적 대학교양교육 지식 및 이론체계를 논의하기 위해 진행되었다. 본고는 코로나19 팬데믹 이후 시대에 새롭게 요구되는 지식담론 구조를 고찰하고, 최근까지 대학교양교육 분야에서 추구해온 보편적 가치의 중요성을 재언급하며, 새로운 위험사회를 맞이하여 중요하게 생각해야 하는 새로운 문화코드를 설명하기 위해 기술되었다. 이과정에서 인간이 고등교육을 통해 한 사회에서 적응할 수 있는 문화연구의 담론구조를 개관함으로써 기존 대학교양교육 이론 지식의 활용 능력을 확장하는 기회를 마련하고자 본연구를 진행했다. 앞으로의 대안적 대학교양교육체계는 다가올 코로나19 팬데믹 이후 시대에 필요한 새로운 문화코드에 대응할 수 있는 상상력을 배양할 수 있도록 재구조화되어야하며, 융합형 교육콘텐츠의 발굴을 위해 변화해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
As various aspects of a risk society are affecting modern society in the COVID-19 pandemic era, the liberal arts education for members of society is as important as ever to help them respond to a risk society. The purpose of this study is to discuss the knowledge and theoretical systems of alternative university liberal arts education needed in a risk society after the COVID-19 pandemic. This study examined the structure of knowledge discourse that will be newly required after the COVID-19 pandemic, reconsidered the importance of universal values that have been pursued in university liberal arts education, and explored a new cultural code that should be considered important in a risk society. In this process, the study is to provide an opportunity to expand the ability to utilize the theoretical knowledge of the existing university liberal arts education theories by examining the discourse structure of cultural research so that humans can adapt to society through higher education. The alternative liberal arts education system in the future should be restructured so that students can cultivate their imagination to follow the new cultural code needed in the post COVID-19 pandemic era, and it will need to be changed to discover convergence educational contents.
