본 연구는 생성형 인공지능(AI)을 활용한 한국어 교육용 텍스트(대화문 및 설명문) 생성 방법과 프롬프트 설계 전략을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 OpenAI의 ChatGPT 4o 모델을 활용하여 초급 및 전공 기반 대화문과 설명문 텍스트를 생성하고, 프 롬프트 조건에 따른 생성 결과의 특징과 교육적 적합성을 분석하였다. 실험 결과, AI가 설 정된 조건에 따라 목표 어휘 및 문법을 포함한 텍스트를 생성할 수 있으나, 학습자의 수준 과 완전히 일치하지 않는 경우가 있어 교사의 검토가 필수적임을 확인하였다. 또한 프롬프트의 구체성이 생성 결과의 질에 중요한 영향을 미쳤으며, 설명문보다 대화문에서 보다 정교한 설계가 요구되었다. 본 연구는 AI 기반 한국어 교육 자료 개발의 가능성을 제시하고 향후 프롬프트 설계 및 교육적 효과 검증을 위한 후속 연구의 필요성을 시사한다.
Abstract
This study aims to explore methods for generating Korean language educational texts—specifically dialogues and expository texts—using generative artificial intelligence (AI), as well as strategies for designing effective prompts. To this end, OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4o model was utilized to generate beginner-level dialogues, major-specific dialogues, and major-specific expository texts. The study analyzed the characteristics of the generated outputs and their educational appropriateness based on different prompt conditions. The results revealed that while the AI could produce texts incorporating target vocabulary and grammar in accordance with specified prompts, teacher review was essential due to occasional mismatches with learners’ proficiency levels. Furthermore, the specificity of the prompts had a significant impact on the quality of the generated texts, and more sophisticated prompt design was required for dialogues than for expository texts. This study suggests the potential of AI-based material development in Korean language education and highlights the need for further research on prompt engineering and the validation of instructional effectiveness.
