본 연구는 인천 개항장의 도시서사자원을 체계적으로 발굴하고 활용방안을 제시한 2017년 연구의 후속 연구로서, 당시 제안된 콘텐츠 활용방안의 정책 연계성과 성과를 점검하였다. 연구 방법으로는 문헌조사, AHP 분석을 통한 전문가 평가, 자문회의를 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 서사성(0.28), 대중성(0.20), 지역성(0.18), 활용성(0.17), 보편성(0.15) 순으로 평가지표 가중치가 도출되었으며, 김구, 김란사, 자유공원, 차이나타운, 하와이·멕시코 이민, 대불호텔 등 6개의 대표 도시서사자원이 선정되었다. 2017년 제안된 활용방안은 '인천e지' 앱을 통한 디지털 관광 서비스, 김란사 뮤지컬 제작, 대불호텔 전시관 운영, 제물포 르네상스 프로젝트 등으로 정책 연계성이 높게 나타났다. 본 연구는 도시서사자원의 체계적 발굴과 활용이 도시 정체성 확립과 관광 활성화에 기여할 수 있음을 실증적으로 제시하였으나, 정량적 성과 분석과 지속가능성 평가는 향후 연구과제로 남는다.
Abstract
This study follows up on 2017 research that systematically identified urban narrative resources in Incheon's Open Port area, examining the policy connectivity and outcomes of proposed utilization strategies. Methods included literature review, AHP analysis, and advisory meetings. Results showed evaluation weights of narrativity (0.28), popularity (0.20), locality (0.18), usability (0.17), and universality (0.15). Six key resources were selected: Kim Gu, Kim Lan-sa, Freedom Park, Chinatown, Hawaii-Mexico immigration, and Daebul Hotel. The 2017 proposals—including the 'Incheon e-ji' app, Kim Lan-sa musical, Daebul Hotel exhibition, and Jemulpo Renaissance Project—showed strong policy implementation. This study demonstrates that systematic utilization of urban narrative resources contributes to urban identity and tourism development, though quantitative assessment and sustainability evaluation remain for future research.
