2024년 김제시 지역 기록화 사업에서 실천된 마을 중심 기록화 모델(죽산면 사례)은 문헌기록, 민간기록물, 구술 채록을 종합적으로 활용하여 ‘지역성’을 도출하고, 자료간 교차검증을 통해 마을별 포괄적·입체적 서술 방식을 적용하였다는 점에서 의의를 지닌다. 그러나 동시에 공공기록물의 체계적 보완, 민간기록물 수집 방법론의 고도화, 장기적 보존 및 활용 체계 마련 등 해결해야 할 과제가 여전히 남아있음을 확인하였다.
Abstract
The village-centered documentation model implemented in Gimje City in 2024, exemplified by the case of Juksan-myeon, is significant in that it comprehensively employed literary records, private archival materials, and oral testimonies to articulate local identity, while adopting a holistic and multi-dimensional narrative framework through triangulation. At the same time, the study identified persisting challenges, including the systematic supplementation of public records, the advancement of methodologies for collecting private records, and the establishment of sustainable systems for long-term preservation and utilization.
