산학협력 캡스톤디자인 운영사례 연구: 정보통신공학 중심으로

국내 대부분 대학에서는 졸업작품을 제작하기 위해 ‘종합설계’와 같은 캡스톤디자인 교과목을 운영하고 있다. 캡스톤디자인의 산출물인 졸업작품은 대학 전공 교육과정의 최고 결정체인 동시에, 앞으로 취업할 4학년 학생들의 실무능력을 가늠하는척도이기도 하다. 따라서 대학에서는 산업체 요구사항을 적절히 반영한 캡스톤디자인 교과목 운영과 산학협력을 위한 지원체계가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 성결대학교 정보통신공학과에서 운영되는 캡스톤디자인 교과과정과 이를 지원하는 산학협력캡스톤디자인 프로그램 운영사례를 소개한다. 코로나19로 인한 비대면에서 대면 수업으로 전환한 현시점에서, 최근 3년간 ‘종합설계’ 교과목의 평가 결과를 분석해 보고, 추후 캡스톤디자인 교과목 운영을 위한 개선방안을 도출한다. 이 연구는 산학협력을 통해 사회적 요구를 캡스톤디자인 운영에 반영하려는 ICT관련 학과에 참고할 만한 사례가 될 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The graduation project, which is the final results of the capstone design course, is not only the highest peak in university majoreducation, but also criteria of the practical skills of fourth grader who is supposed to get a job in the future. Therefore, it is neededto operate a capstone design course that reflects industry requirements and its support system for cooperation with industry. In thisstudy, we present a case of the capstone design course and the industry-academic capstone design program at the department ofInformation and Communication Engineering in Sungkyul University. At the time being transitioned from offline to online classdue to COVID-19, we evaluate results of the capstone design class over the past three years and induce improvements for the furtheroperation of the class. This study may contribute to be a practical reference for ICT-related departments that attempt to apply socialdemands in their capstone design course through industry-academic cooperation
