『만독사전』(2007)의 만주어 혼성어 분석 오류 고찰―『어제증정청문감』의 뜻풀이를 중심으로―

본고에서는 『만독사전』(2007)에 혼성어로 분류한 표제어들을 모두 검토하여 분석 오류로 생각되는 혼성어의 목록과 올바른 분석 결과를 제시함으로써, 이들이 보다 정밀한 만주어 혼성어 연구를 위한 기초 자료로서 활용될 수 있도록 하였다. 『만독사전』(2007)의 혼성어 분석 오류는 대체로 그 형성어의 일부를 누락한 경우와 잘못된 형성어를 제시한 경우로 나눌 수 있다. 형성어 일부를 누락한 오류는 한어 형성어 일부를 누락한 경우와 만주어 형성어 일부를 누락한 경우, 한어 및 만주어 형성어 모두를 누락한 경우로 나뉜다. 한어 형성어를 누락한 경우는 ‘tildargan’을 ‘題肩+baldargan’이 아니라 ‘題+baldargan’로 분석한 것과 같이 2자 한어로 분석되어야 하는 것을 1자 한어로만 분석한 경우가 많고, 만주어 형성어를 누락한 경우는 ‘gungkeri’를 ‘gu+šungkeri ilha’가 아니라 ‘gu+šungkeri’로 분석한 것과 같이 구로 분석되어야 하는 것이 단어로 분석되어 있는 것이 많았다. 또 한어와 만주어 형성어를 모두 누락한 경우는 ‘furhun’과 같이 ‘鶝䲹+indahūn cecike’가 아니라 ‘鶝+indahūn’로 분석된 경우가 있었다. 한편, 잘못된 형성어를 제시한 경우는 한어 형성어를 잘못 제시한 경우와 만주어 형성어를 잘못 제시한 경우가 있었다. 예를 들어, ‘lorin’은 ‘騾+morin’가 아니라 ‘驢+morin’로, ‘danggiri’는 ‘鐺+kanggiri’가 아니라 ‘鐺+conggiri’로 분석되어야 한다. 이러한 오분석은 형성어의 의미에 대한 고려 없이 소리의 유사성만을 우선시한 결과로 생각되는데, 이들은 대체로 혼성어와 그 형성어에 대한 『어제증정청문감』의 뜻풀이를 참고하면 올바른 분석 결과를 도출할 수 있는 경우가 많았다.
Abstract
In this paper, we reviewed all the headwords classified as blends in Hauer(2007) Handwörterbuch der Mandschusprache, and presented a list of blends thought to be analytical errors and the correct analysis results, so that they could be used as basic data for future Manchu blends research. Errors in the analysis of blends in Hauer(2007) may be devided into cases where the part of the formative words is omitted and where the formative words are incorrectly presented due to incorrect analysis. The cases where the part of the formative words is omitted are divided into three cases. In the first case where the omitted part of the formative word is Chinese, what should be analyzed as two-letter Chinese is frequently analyzed only as one-letter Chinese. For example, “tildargan” is analyzed not as “題肩+baldargan” but as “題+baldargan”. In the second case where the omitted part of the formative word is Manchu, what should be analyzed as phrase is frequently analyzed as words. For example, the blend “gungkeri” is analyzed as “gu+šungkeri”, not as “gu+šungkeri ilha”. There is also a third case where the omitted parts of the formative words are both Chinese and Manchu. In this case, the blend “furhun” is analyzed as “鶝+indahūn”, not as “鶝䲹+indahūn cecike”. The cases where the formative word is incorrectly presented are divided into two cases), where Chinese formative words were incorrectly presented or Manchu formative words were incorrectly presented. For example, “lorin” should be analyzed as “驢+morin” rather than “騾+morin”, “danggiri” should be analyzed as “鐺+conggiri” rather than “鐺+kanggiri”. These incorrect analyses are thought to be the result of prioritizing only the similarity of sounds without considering the meaning of the formative words. In most cases, correct analysis could be derived by referring to the interpretation of 『御製增訂淸文鑑(Yuzhi Zengding Qingwenjian)』 about blends and their formation words.
