초록
To know the action mechanism of melanogenic effect of soybean (Glicine maxim) methanolic extract (GMME) which had ascertained in the author's previous study, efficacy of GMME on the expression of enzymes related to melanogenesis was evaluated in vitro using melan-a cells. The expression of tyrosinase, tyrosinase related protein-1 and tyrosinase related protein-2 proteins in GMME-treated group significantly (p<0.05) increased compared to untreated control group. In addition, the mRNA levels of all these three genes in GMME-treated group significantly (p<0.05) increased by GMME. Based on these results, it is suggested that GMME could be used to improve hair graying.
