초등학생의 자원봉사 동기가 복지인식을 매개로 사회적응에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구는 초등학생들의 자원봉사 동기가 복지인식을 매개로 하여 사회적응에 영향을 미치는 경로를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해서 전국 2,427명의 초등학생을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료를 경로분석을 통하여 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 초등학생들이 자원봉사 활동에 대해서 갖고 있는 순수한 관심이나 흥미를 기반으로 하는 내재적 자원봉사 동기는 사회적응에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 동시에 복지인식을 매개로간접적인 영향을 미치기도 하였다. 그리고 자원봉사 활동을 통한 보상이나 다른 욕구의 충족과 같은 부수적 효과를 거두는 것에 관련된 외재적 자원봉사 동기는 복지인식을 매개로 사회적응에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 초등학생들의 내재적 자원봉사 동기와 외재적 자원봉사 동기를 높이고 이를 통해서 궁극적으로사회적응력을 신장시키기 위한 실천적 방안을 제언하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the paths of the voluntary motivation effect on adaptationto social life of elementary school students. Specially, this study focused on whether perception about social welfare mediate this path. To achieve this purpose, 2427 elementary school studentswere sampled. The study found that intrinsic voluntary motivation directly effects to social adaptationand indirectly effects mediated by perception about social welfare. Extrinsic voluntary motivation indirectly effects to social motivation mediated by perception about social welfare. Implicationsof the results were explored in terms of measures that improve the voluntary motivation and perceptionabout social welfare for social adaptation of elementary school students.
