본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 봉사활동에 대한 조절초점동기와 인성의 관계에서 봉사활동만족도가 매개역할을 하는지 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 수도권에 위치한 고등학교 재학생 300명의 자료를 분석에 이용하였다. 분석을 위해 SPSS 21.0 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 봉사활동에 대한 조절초점동기가 인성에 미치는 영향에서 예방초점동기는 인성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 향상초점동기는 인성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 봉사활동에 대한 조절초점동기가 인성에 미치는 영향에서 봉사활동만족도의 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 향상초점동기가 인성에 미치는 영향에서 봉사활동만족도는 부분매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 예방초점동기는 봉사활동만족도의 매개효과를 검증할 수 없었다. 본 연구의 의의는 청소년의 봉사활동에 대한 조절초점동기와 인성의 관계에서 봉사활동만족도의 매개효과를 살펴봄으로써 봉사활동의 동기와 봉사활동만족도의 중요함을 밝혀낸 것에 있다.
Abstract
The main purposes of this study were to examine that volunteer satisfaction play the mediating role on the correlation of regulatory focus motivation for youth volunteer activities and youth’s character. For this study, 300 survey data from high school students in capital area of Korea were used for analysis. Summaries of this study were as follow. First, in effects of the regulatory focus motivation of youth volunteers on character, it show that prevention focus motivation did not effect significantly on character but promotion focus motivation effect on character. Second, as a result of analyzing the mediating effects of volunteer satisfaction on effects of the regulatory focus motivation on youth volunteer activities, it show that the satisfaction of volunteer activities was partially mediated at the effect of promotion focus motivation on youth’s character but mediating effect of prevention focus motivation on character couldn't be verified. We studied mediating effects of volunteer satisfaction on the correlation between regulatory focus motivation for youth’s volunteer activities and youth’s character. We had derived partly relationship between motivations and volunteer satisfaction.
