Abstract
This study is an attempt to examine the meaning and content of Christian belief of creation in a phenomenological-theological way against the threat of an understanding of creation based on scientism. Specifically, this article can be seen as one of the attempts to correct the error that confuses the scientific proof of creative events today with the meaning of creative events that the Bible testifies to. Above all, I would like to look at the fundamental errors of the attitude of us- ing scientific methods for biblical interpretation and proof based on biblical literalism in a phenomenological and theological perspective. Ultimately, it is necessary to discuss the nature of creation that the Bible states, and the conditions and directions for today’s creation belief to be properly understood. Therefore, this article first pointed out the errors of scientism that make creation the object of scientific proof, revealing that science can be a tool to enrich creation be- liefs(II). And this study then analyzed the phenomenology of Husserl, who criticized the attitude of naturalizing the mind to phenomenolog- ically criticize the scientific perspective(III). Finally, I looked at the meaningful opinions of modern theologians on the need for a phe- nomenological understanding of this creation and its methods (IV).
